November 11, 2019, San Francisco, CA – Functionize announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized Functionize as a finalist in the 2019 CRN Tech Innovator Awards. These annual awards honor innovative hardware, software, and services. CRN editors evaluated hundreds of products, across 34 technology categories using criteria, including technological advancements, uniqueness of features, and potential to help solution providers solve common IT challenges. The Functionize solution took top honors in the IT/Application Automation category.

Functionize provides an AI/ML/NLP powered functional/performance test automation solution that delivers the test velocity, efficiency and coverage required to support DevOps and CI/CD methodologies. Functionize uniquely achieves this by enabling test automation to be written in English, eliminating coding skill set requirements and allowing business process experts and non-technical users to build, maintain and execute automated tests. Further functionality allows the upload of existing test cases in Excel and Functionize AI/ NLP technology quickly models them to create the test automation. Test maintenance is dramatically reduced through AI/ML powered self-healing and root cause analysis. This keeps test cases robust whenever application changes are made. Cloud scale execution enables 1,000's of test to be executed concurrently across multiple browsers and all tests will execute within the time it takes the single slowest test to execute. Our cloud solution eliminates the need for hardware/software to support the QA test automation process.

“CRN’s Tech Innovator Awards honor technology vendors who work tirelessly to craft ground-breaking solutions for end users, matching the speed of the channel’s evolution,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “The winners in this year’s award categories deserve congratulations for their success in driving IT innovation forward for solution providers and their customers.”

“We are honored to have the distinction of being recognized as a Tech Innovator for our innovative and unique high value application quality platform,” said Daniel Gannon, Vice President of Global Alliances and Channels.

“By synthesizing constant input from our customers and our partner ecosystem we are able to drive ongoing market-relevant technology solutions that deliver extraordinary value to our end users, and provide critical functionality for our Partners portfolio.”

The Tech Innovator Awards will be featured in the December 2019 issue of CRN and can be viewed online at
