Functionize is the leading provider of AI-powered software testing solutions revolutionizing the testing landscape through our innovative technology. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing Enterprise Sales Team.
Position Summary:
Business Development Representatives (BDRs) serve as an integral part of our sales engine and support the Enterprise Sales Team in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. This role will have a direct impact on our revenue growth and will require a high degree of self-motivation, proactivity, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Outreach
- Lead Generation: Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to target prospects and set up initial discovery calls.
- Qualify Leads: Assess the needs and challenges of prospective customers through discovery calls, and determine how our solutions could address those needs.
- CRM Management: Utilize Hubspot to track interactions, maintain customer data, and manage the sales pipeline.
- Segmentation and Retargeting: Identify dormant or lost leads and initiate re-engagement strategies.
- Email Outreach: Execute targeted email campaigns to nurture and convert leads.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Teamwork: Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute targeted campaigns.
- Weekly Reports: Produce and maintain detailed activity reports and provide them to sales management on a weekly basis.
- Data Analysis: Regularly review data analytics reports to understand the effectiveness of sales efforts and to understand market trends.
Customer Interaction
- First-Line Response: Serve as the first line of contact for inbound inquiries from prospective customers.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product offerings through regular trainings and demos.
Additional Duties
- Follow-Up: Timely follow-up with prospects to advance opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Market Research: Keep an eye on market trends and competitors to inform sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in SaaS or technology sales. Ideally some understanding of Software Quality Testing and development lifecycle.
- Experience with CRM software, preferably Hubspot.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
