The Opportunity 

At Functionize, we’re on a mission to reinvent how software is tested with our cutting-edge Agentic Test Automation platform. We’re looking for a Commercial Account Executive who’s ready to sell transformational technology and help some of the most innovative companies deliver better software, faster. If you're passionate about solving complex problems, driving customer outcomes, and closing deals in high-growth environments — this is your opportunity to shine.

What You’ll Own 

  • Own and drive a strategic territory plan to build pipeline and close deals in large commercial accounts
  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to presenting to negotiating with C-level and senior executives
  • Help modernize QA by showing customers how Functionize’s AI-powered platform radically improves speed, quality, and developer productivity
  • Navigate complex customer environments and build consultative, value-based proposals that deliver real ROI
  • Partner closely with Solutions Engineers and internal teams to deliver tailored product demonstrations and support technical evaluations
  • Forecast accurately in CRM and hit (or exceed!) your number with consistency
  • Create raving fans by driving long-term customer success and satisfaction
  • Bring your voice to a collaborative, fast-moving, and supportive sales team where everyone is invested in your success

What Makes You A Fit 

  • 5+ years of software sales experience, with at least 1–3 years selling complex solutions into large commercial organizations
  • A technical aptitude and comfort speaking to software development, QA, and digital transformation topics
  • Experience using sales methodology, such as MEDDPIC, to navigate and forecast complex sales cycles
  • Existing relationships with key partners and the ability to leverage channels to drive growth
  • A startup mindset: adaptable, self-motivated, and energized by change
  • A proven track record of exceeding quota — you've got the wins and President’s Club accolades to prove it
  • A consultative selling style that builds trust and drives value
  • The ability to map stakeholders, uncover buying motivations, and guide deals across multiple decision makers
