In the last few years, the C-level of org charts—not to mention the Monday-morning executive councils—have become crowded affairs.
What used to be an intimate group— the CEO, CFO, CTO and a few other ‘C’ titles—has now expanded to include the CSO (Security), CRO (Revenue), CLO (Legal), CIO (Information). And this list is by no means exhaustive.
But recent trends—and the activities of a number of far-thinking companies—are suggesting that enterprises need to make for one more addition to their C-suite: Chief Quality Officer (CQO).
